Which Accessories bring additional ValueGPS Tracking can be used with additional accessories to solve your problems: Temperature SensorsThe temperature sensor is used to measure the temperature of refrigerated trucks or frozen goods. The temperature will be shown as a line and is stored in the historic data. It can be reviewed with temperature reports. Finally, you can set temperature alerts as a warning if the temperature exceeds a limit. Driver IdentificationIf you don't know who is driving your vehicles, you can use automatic driver identification. Every driver gets a unique ID chip (Dallas iButton). A special iButton reader is mounted on the vehicle's dashboard. He uses his iButton chip to identify himself by placing the iButton on the reader. Harsh Braking SensorsThe harsh braking sensor is used to measure harsh braking events. SMS AlertsYou can use additional SMS alerts to receive alerts on your mobile phone. Additional SwitchesThe digital inputs of your tracking devices can transfer signals. The signals can be produced by external sensors or switches that we provide for private / business or panic button or adding new customers. FMS-Data (CANBUS)Our tracking device GFSx44 is capable of reading out the FMS-Data of commercial heavy trucks. The FMS (CANBUS data) helps to analyze the fuel consumption by exact data of fuel level, fuel consumption, RPM and speed. The Fleet Management Systems Interface (FMS) is a standard interface to vehicle data of commercial vehicles. The six European manufacturers Daimler AG, MAN AG, Scania, Volvo (incl. Renault), DAF Trucks and IVECO have developed the so called FMS-Standard in 2002 to make manufacturer independent applications for telematics possible. Read more in our FAQs. ?
