	The CANBUS Adaptor is made for connecting the AT5 tracking device to the vehicle's CANBUS. It uses the tracking device's RS232 interface. The CANBUS Adaptor will work for most modern truck brands (construction years 2009 or younger only!). There are 4 types of adaptors to support either SAE J1939 (FMS protocoll) or SAE J1708 data protocoll or OBDII for smaller vehicles. A full list of supported vehicles can be provided upon request.
	The Garmin Fleet Management Interface can be used to connect a modern GPS navigation device (Garmin Nüvi Device) to the tracking device. The Garmin Navigation Device is used for sending new waypoints and precise GPS targets to the driver or to send and receive short messages and status messages. The communication is done almost in real-time.
	The internal backup battery (650 mAh) is made for operating the device for several hours if the tracking device is dis-connected from main power or if the external vehicle main battery is depleted. If the external power ist lost, the tracking device will trigger a Main Power Low or Main Power Lost alert.
